The NFC East has been a dogfight from week one. The Washington Redskins, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Giants habe fought tirelessly for the best record in the division. Currently the Giants are in the lead, but the Redskins and Co
wboys are in the hunt. RGIII led the Redskins to victory over the Cowboys, putting them only 1.5 games behind the defending Super Bowl champs. As for the Giants, Eli has not been his elite self, averaging less than 200 passing yards in the last three games. The Giants have lost two straight, making this race even closer. But the answer to these Giant woes are not to be found, so there may be a new NFC champ.
The New York giants are becoming less and less predictable throughout the season. They have surrendered losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals, but have beaten the San Francisco 49ers. This could be a good thing as they might take down a talented team. But it could also be bad as they could surrender a loss to a weak team in the upcoming weeks.
As for the Washington Redskins, they have been better than expected. They are one game under .500, as RGIII has carried the team to five wins. RGIII has been very surprising, as his stats are better than predicted. Other than this rookie quarterback, Alred Morris has been another bright spot on this Redskins team. He wasn”t predicted to be the starting running back, but made himself known right away. On a two game winning streak the Redskins are the hottest team in the NFC East. They will look to head into the playoffs, as their test will come in week thirteen as they will face the Giants.
Dallas has been another team fighting to win the NFC East. They suffered some ugly losses to the Seattle Seahawks and Washing Redskins, but have beaten the Giants and Buccaneers. Tony Romo hasn”t been the best quarterback, but he has led his team to five victories on the season. They are at a 5-6 record like the Redskins, so their chances are very similar.
As you can see, the NFC East is a dogfight. Three teams will fight until the end, but one will be victorious. I predict the Washington Redskins to win the NFC East. Although it will be tough, I predict RGIII to surpass all odds and lead his team straight for the playoffs.
